Zach Whitehouse Assignment 2

Homework is hard
School is difficult
You are perfect
Never forget this

A wave of people
Flow through the hallways
You get bumped and banged
But you keep your head up

Don't worry about your failures
You know you will succeed
You are intelligent
You are hardworking

It won't be easy
And you will get stressed
Keep your head straight
You will make it through

Anything is possible
It's all up to you

I used short syntax to keep the reader engaged theoughout the poem. I alluded to the hallways because all the students can relate to it. I used the word "you" to keep the audience engaged and make sure they know it's about them. The word "flow" keeps the poem relaxed but most of it is straight forward and serious. The poem is more of s narrative of how school is.
