Another Day

to be successful to go where you want,

        I chose to only have two stanzas so that there was a sense of realization brought forward in the second stanza.  There is a contrast that is made in not only content, but also in presentation.  There is structure in the first stanza with punctuation where as there is chaotic structure and a complete lack of punctuation and capitalization.  The first five lines are to be interpreted as commands from an authority figure setting up a stage for rebellion.  The false hope is followed up with an allusion to Sisyphus who in Greek mythology was sentenced to rolling a boulder up a mountain every day only to see it roll back down.  His only option was to try and to keep trying in hopes that one day the boulder would stay up at the top, but that day would never come.  There is no day where we will finally reach academic perfection.
