Scott Street Assignment 5
As unorganized of a person I am and considering my lack of planning, I believe that I uncharacteristically know what I want to be when I'm older. I want to be a businessman. You may think "wow, so he wants to work in a cubicle all day?" In theory, yes, but everyone knows a cubicle is a rather far from ideal place to spend the majority of your life. I want to present ideas in front of other corporate businessmen. I want to show them how to target this specific audience. I also want to work in the field of sports. For me, sports are my life. Just about everything I do involves sports - heck I'm missing a good game right now (but I'm not complaining I love blog posts (: ). So why not stay in the realm of something I love? Working in the business side for an MLB or NFL team would be a dream for me. To get there, however, I would need an impressive resume. I would have to graduate college with a double major or major-minor in business management/administration and sports marketing. If I do this and then get a bachelor's degree somewhere, with a couple of internships sprinkled in, I might have a chance at achieving what I set out to do. If not, I could always find a job at a big company. My ultimate goal is to be happy, and if I have extra money, to donate to cancer research, as the strain runs in my family and I would love to see a cure be found. Overall, however, I would just like to start a family and live happily knowing that I am living a good life.
